We are so excited to announce that starting on Sunday, August 3rd we will be offering a special class just for 4th & 5th grade students! This class will be geared specifically towards this age group. Students will be dropped off by parents and securely checked in at Room 101 by the 4th & 5th grade leaders. For the first part of class, the students will attend worship in the sanctuary together as a group. On their way back to the classroom, they can stop by and grab some hot chocolate at the cafe station and then begin digging into God’s word with their leaders back in class.
The curriculum being used is called “To Be Like Jesus” and is a study specifically designed for 4th & 5th graders on following Jesus! This curriculum carefully steers children down the true Biblical road of the Gospel message. Students will learn that being a Christian is all about having a heart-felt, genuine relationship with our living & reigning Savior & Lord!
This class will currently only be offered at the 10am service. At the other services, we would love to welcome your 4th & 5th grader into the elementary kids ministry with the option to serve as a “kids ministry helper” and learn about serving in different capacities in our kids ministry! This is a great foundation for your 4th & 5th grader to start learning that they are never too young to be used by God! Various opportunities may include: helping with kids worship, assisting with the tech team, helping with various acting/skit opportunities, and assist with small group time. If your child is interested in these leadership opportunities, just let them know at check-in that your child is a 4th & 5th grader and they will help them get plugged into serving for that service!
